Frequently asked questions

From the Properties tab, tap the add button and fill in a name, address, and optional cover photo. Once saved, you can start adding assets to that property right away.
For best results, make sure the appliance's data plate or label is well-lit, in focus, and fills as much of the frame as possible. AI suggestions are a starting point — you can always edit the brand, model, serial number, or maintenance tasks before saving.
Sign in with the same account on your new device, then go to Profile → Account → Restore Purchases. Your Premium status is tied to your App Store or Google Play account and will be restored automatically.
First, check that notifications are enabled for Homestead in your device's system settings. Then, in the app, go to Profile → Notifications and confirm reminders are turned on. If you recently reinstalled the app, reopen it once while connected to the internet so your device can re-register for notifications.
Your properties, assets, documents, and maintenance history are securely stored in your account and are available on any device you sign in to. If you need a full export for another purpose, contact us at support@homesteadapp.com.
